But it's starting to look like it. On Monday when I got home from work and look at the flowerbed. Guess what I saw??? Could it be true, color starting!
By golly I think it is true. Some early crocuses are starting to bloom. I was so excited. Tuesday when I got home form work this is what I saw.
Wow, did they ever pop open! I guess that is what happens when Mr. Sun decided to make an appearance. I really have to contain myself and not let Spring Fever creep in. Our weatherman says possibility of snow this weekend. Gosh darn him!!! I think it is time I start doing the sunshine dance.
Come on Spring, two step, sashay to the right or was they put your left foot in!
Enjoy June
Welcome
I hope to share my little ups and downs though life in a small town with hopes and dreams of the country life. With that I have learned to bloom where you are planted.

IT'S MELTING
Our snow is melting and turning everything into slush! We got a nice layer of ice on the snow but luckily it didn't last long. The temps have moved up into the forties so normal has returned to the NW.
But before normal I had a little tiny dilemma on my hands. My crazy dogs didn't want to go potty in the snow. It was kicking them out the door and waiting for action on my part. But them I got this idea. There is a tree/shrub in my one flower bed that has no snow under it. So being the spoiled dogs they are I dug a path to the tree.
I decided to also dig a path to my chicken coop. Hey, it got me outside into the fresh air, okay cold air but sure did help the cabin fever.
As of this morning the snow is almost gone. So now my thoughts turn to Spring! Oh heaven help me, it is still a ways off.

SNOW DAYS!
Do I love snow, YES!!! Do we get snow, seldom! Am I loving our weather, YES! It is one of those few time when it snows in the valley. I'm lucky that I have a vehicle to make it to work the last couple of days. I am now snuggled in loving the snow covered yard. I still haven't replace my camera so the phone all I have. So I'm sharing just a few pics of "my" snow!
It is early this morning before complete light so I see I have a blue cast. Anyone want to come swing with me?
It's getting a little brighter out and yes, the crazy dog has been out in it.
Jazi loves the snow. One thing I've learned is when she comes in she has a lot of snowball hanging off her.
Jackson not so much. This picture was taken Thursday so the snow was light. The snow dept is now up to the door.
I love the arbor in the snow. It is on the pathway to the chicken coop. I am keeping my girls locked in the coop with a heat lamp, lots of food and fresh water.
Would you like to have a seat while I feed the chickens? ha-ha!!
Well it's still snowing and I'm enjoying sitting in the warmth of my house enjoying every flake. I may walk to the Post Office later today. The pupsters won't be able to go. My little town doesn't have snow plows. We are at about 9 inches and counting. Their bellies drag, LOL!!!
Everyone stay safe, stay warm and enjoy!

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
Oh what a day! We had a wonderful day, could it be our SEAHAWKS won!! My family has been Seahawks fan for many, many years. Yes, though the bad years and all. I have two boys both in there forties now who have been diehard fans. Since my camera is broke and I still haven't replaced it. There will be no pictures from yesterday. A video would have been fun to watch my oldest son get excited. So to let you know how long we've been Seahawk fans I'm sharing a couple pictures of my boys.
The driver is 5 years old in the picture and they both have their Seahawk shirts on. They lived in their jersey.
I'm thinking they are about 12 and 13 in this picture. I wonder whatever happen to their Seahawk dolls. They would be collector items now.
My boys were texting each other during the game and after the win both texted FINALLY!!!!
It was a great day at our house, but now it is back to normal.
Enjoy June!

LOOKY, LOOKY!!!!
Can you say I am excited?? I won a drawing from one of my favorite blogger. I won handmade cards by Missy!!! Now the sad thing, my camera gave up the ship. I've been complaining about my camera for, okay, more than a year. It's time to buy a new one. But here is the really sad news. I can only take pictures of these fantastic cards with my phone. So here goes!
Aren't they GREAT!!!!!! My camera phone does not do them justice. Each and everyone has so much details. I so admire the talent of some of my blog friends. Here is a little secret, I'm keeping them all to myself. Nope, not sending one of them out, hee-hee!!
Now onto camera shopping, ugh!

FRESH START
It is the new year and I really need a fresh start. I must, I must reduce my - wait it is my mess I'm talking about. Yes, that "stuff" that seem to collect. I know while I am sound asleep at night the clutter fairies are hard a work multiplying stuff. My sewing/craft room took the brunt of Christmas gift storage, wrapping central and quick put in that room company is here! I truly have vision of this lovely well organized room.
Maybe it would look like this. My wall are already this color, well if you could see them!
Or maybe this one. I do love red and it always makes me cheerful. Yes, I know I am dreaming of this lovely room. Wake up! Ha, ha, now that I've picked myself up off the floor for laughing so hard, reality has sunk in.
I've come up with a plan. I have someone come in and pack up my entire room, okay two rooms. Take everything to storage. As the weeks go by if I "need" something I can return it to the room. Notice that word NEED! Now this person would have to do this without my knowledge and I must be far, far away! Otherwise they would have a tug of war on their hands. Yes, I have a attachment problem to stuff! I wonder is there is recovery group for this addiction.
Any bloggers out there want to pack it up or are my blogger friends a lot like me and have the stuff addiction. It's off to the room of never, never return. Oh Fresh Start where are you!!!
