CAMPING SEASON ENDS

My last trip of this year was so fantastic.  It was fun, relaxing & beautiful all rolled up into one.  The group I camp with ends the season at Belknap Hot Springs.  What a wonderful place!  Of course it has two hot spring pools, but it sits right on the McKenzie River.  I'm going to share some of the pics from the weekend with very little words.  The main reason is you would need your sleeping bag and camp out otherwise.

First a few of the vintage trailers and even a new vintage

 Every trailer needs a crown!

We spent many of hours in the hot pools, with games and vintage swimsuit competition.  I passed on this!

We went for lots of walks along the river and also to the secret garden.

There was never lack for food either potlucks or eating out!
Did you notice tiaras are a requirement!

We spent many hours around the campfire, pj's were a normal attire in the evening, along with your favorite beverage.

It was so hard to get all 40 of us in a picture but we tried!!

So this ends camping season 2014!  I've already made reservation for three trips next year.  Can a gal have so much fun - YES!!!!!!!!!

My final picture leaving this beautiful area, until next year!!

Enjoy June!

IT HAS ARRIVED

My winner tin has arrived, yippee!  With excitement I opened the package and knew this tin was made for me. I had the perfect spot for it!  Yes, right under the green clock!

I think it found the perfect spot! The colors go perfect and of course it is a rooster.

The saying of the tin are Abundance, Prosperity, Love, Joy, Devotion, Community, Providence, Peace, Faith, Grace and Blessings.  I am truly blessed winning this tin!

Then in the package were the most adorable cards.

I so recommend you visit Sarah Hudock for it is all made in the USA!!!  Her website is ChickenArt.com!  She will amaze you with her talent.  A great big thank you to Sarah and Debbie at Dandelion House!

MY JAZI

Ten years ago I decided that I wanted a dog.  Yes, a little companion by my side.  So I started watching our Humane Society website. I knew I wanted a non allergenic dog for I have a son with asthma. One day appeared this 2 year old white poodle.  A quick visit and she was mine. At first there were many adjustment with getting a dog you do not know any history.   But we settled into our daily routine, her the boss!

She was this high spirited, may time aloof, adorable mutt!  I think you are noticing I am writing in past tense.  My little Jazi went to doggie heaven about a month ago.  It is crazy how we get so attached to our furry pets.

Ive tried over the years to take picture of her but let's she say she doesn't sit still much.  She did like each and every one of the grands and sometimes would sit a little still with them.

She loved going and it didn't matter where. She would stay in the car for hours just along as she got to go.  She loved going for walks and was always the leader.

She was a good girl at the groomers but I actually loved her fluffy!. She was always up for adventure and truly was my snow dog if we got snow in the winter.

She was often called Brat Dog and for good reason, LOL!!  But she was also a very loved dog and I am missing her!  Now it is Jackson, my foster dog that never left and I!!

WINNER, WINNER!!!

What exciting news I have to share with everyone.  This past weekend has been so full of activities with family I haven't been online.  What a surprise to find out I had won a drawing.  It isn't any drawing in my book.  One of my favorite blogs that I love is Debbie"s and especially her Friday blog hop. http://deborahjeansdandelionhouse.blogspot.com  I tried to link this blog but as usual I'm having problems.  Anyway Debbie had a drawing of Sara Hubdockhttp://chickenart.com/artists/sarahhudock.html  AND I WON.  The very first time I saw the tin art I was so excited because it just called to me.

Isn't this wonderful!!  To think all I had to do is send my name and address in and it soon will be on  its way!  Now here's the deal my kitchen is green and red with chickens!  Do you think this is going to be perfect, I do!!

As previous I said it was a busy weekend and a fun weekend  Yes, all seven of my grand kids were together!  They have so much fun and so do I!

Where has the time gone.  They aren't little anymore.

GIRLFRIENDS + CAMPING = FUN

Anyone who says they don't need a girlfriend just hasn't found a good one yet! I love my girlfriends and especially my camping girlfriends.  I been camping several weekends this summer.  Last weekend was a very relaxing and fun time.  We went "Junking".

I thought I would share a few pictures of our camp.  We were in a group area and manage to squeeze 14 trailers in.  Thank goodness we like tiny trailers!!

Have I bored you yet?  Our trailer are like little play houses.  You can decorate with your favorite theme.

Just a peek inside a western theme trailer.  Our temps were warm so a fan is a must! As you can tell the majority are vintage and don't come with air conditioning.

Yes, I do have girlfriend that were there!
Well I best get heading to bed for the trailer is still hitched up and ready to head out tomorrow.  Oh what fun lies ahead! Central Oregon here we come!

Enjoy June

LABOR DAY FUN & LABOR

Before I can tell you about this weekend I haven't even told you how I spent my Labor Day weekend.  It was a fun and work packed weekend.  I invited some girlfriends actually classmate from high school.  So you can say I've known them a long, long time. We visited the dahlia fields!  We have had warm sunny weather for months now.  But of course the day we ventured out was a day of rain & sun.  I can't complain since I didn't have to water.  It didn't slow us down!

Aren't these dahlia beautiful.  Swan Island Dahlia Fields are the best.

Then I labored.  I decided my back patio was looking a little dull.  So I got out spray paint and went to work.  I put a fresh coat of paint on all my outside dinning chairs.  I spray painted my milk can that acts as my umbrella stand.  A fresh coat on my outdoor bathing tub.  Actually my personal hot tub! You could call me the crazy spay paint lady.  Everything looks better.

Now I best get ready for work and think about posting my camping with the girls. Bored yet?

Enjoy June
